Kylemore Lake starts adjacent to Kylemore Abbey and is most notible for its ideal fishing. Sitting in between two mountains the area has dramatic beauty with very clear reflections from the mountains. Temperatures also sour during summer due to the lack of wind. This is an ideal spot to salmon fish or just hire a boat for the day from Kylemore House.
